Delivery Policy

At AURÆN, anticipation is part of the ritual. Every order is a promise — here's how we keep it, with full transparency.

1. The journey of your order

Our pieces travel from our carefully selected partner workshops by the AURÆN studio. This rigorous curation comes at a price — that of time. We have chosen quality and ethics over immediacy.

When your order reaches us, it enters a three-step journey:

  1. AURÆN Preparation (1 to 3 business days) — order verification, transmission to the relevant partner workshop.
  2. Packaging & Shipping (7 to 10 business days) — your piece is inspected one last time, carefully packaged, then handed over to the carrier.
  3. Delivery (5 to 12 days) — depending on your delivery zone, the package reaches you via optimized transport.

In total, allow between 2 and 3 weeks between order and receipt. We prefer to be honest rather than over-promise.

2. Digital products — immediate delivery

Our e-books, calendars, and printable planners (Petit Manuel du Tarot, Calendrier Lunaire, Mon Autel Idéal, L'Art du Rituel Quotidien, Les 13 Lunes) are delivered by email within minutes of your payment. No waiting time — the download link reaches you at the address provided when ordering.

Check your main inbox, then your Promotions or Spam folder if you don't receive it within an hour. Write to us at contact@maisonauraen.com if you have any issues, we'll retrieve the link right away.

3. Delivery zones & shipping costs

AURÆN currently delivers to the following zones:

For destinations not listed above (French overseas territories, other countries), please write to us before placing your order at contact@maisonauraen.com. We will study each request on a case-by-case basis and confirm feasibility and delivery times.

4. Premium option — Secure Delivery (France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Switzerland)

For €17.90, you can choose our Secure Delivery option at checkout. It adds a full guarantee against loss, theft, and breakage during transport — in addition to standard tracking. In case of an issue during transit, we will replace or refund without deductible or complicated proof.

This option is particularly recommended for more precious pieces, heavy geodes, or orders intended as gifts.

5. Shipping method

We work with a standard tracked service, which combines the reliability of an international carrier upstream and final delivery by local postal services (La Poste / Colissimo in France, bpost in Belgium, Swiss Post in Switzerland, Royal Mail in the UK, Deutsche Post in Germany, USPS in the United States, etc.).

Every package is tracked from end to end. You receive your tracking number by email as soon as the piece leaves the shipping workshop, and you can consult it at any time from your account on maisonauraen.com.

6. Customs duties & taxes

For shipments within the European Union (including France, Belgium, and Luxembourg), no customs duties are due — all taxes are included in your price.

For destinations outside the EU (Switzerland, United Kingdom, United States, Canada, Norway, Australia, Singapore, etc.), local authorities may apply import VAT or customs duties depending on the value of your order.

In particular, for Switzerland, the customer may be required to pay Swiss VAT (8.1%) as well as Swiss Post customs clearance fees upon delivery. These fees are not included in our shipping prices and are the responsibility of the recipient. We encourage you to check with your country's customs administration before ordering.

7. Tracking your order

Three milestones mark your wait:

  • Order confirmation — email received within minutes of your payment.
  • Shipping confirmation + tracking number — email sent as soon as your item leaves the workshop (within 7 to 10 business days on average).
  • Delivery — carrier notification on the day of delivery.

You can also track your order at any time from the Order Tracking page of our website, or directly from your customer account.

8. Receipt & verification

Upon receipt, we invite you to check the condition of the package and the item before signing or moving away from the delivery person. If you notice:

  • Visibly damaged packaging — take a photo, refuse the package if possible, and write to us within 48 hours.
  • A broken item or one not conforming to the order — photograph the product and packaging, then write to us within 7 days of receipt. We will replace or refund without dispute.

9. What to do in case of delay or lost package?

The deadlines we indicate are sincere estimates, not contractual guarantees — international transport sometimes involves unforeseen events (customs, weather, carrier overload).

Here is our written commitment:

  • Your order exceeds the estimated high deadline + 7 days? Write to us at contact@maisonauraen.com. We will launch a carrier investigation within 24 hours.
  • No trace of the package after 30 days? We will fully refund you or reship the order at our expense — your choice.
  • Your package is marked "delivered" but you haven't received it? First contact your local post office and your neighbors. If the item remains untraceable, we will open a carrier investigation within 48 hours.

10. Incorrect delivery address

If your package is returned due to an incomplete or incorrect address, we will contact you by email to confirm the new address. Reshipping is possible, but additional shipping costs are at your expense.

You can modify your address up to 30 minutes after placing the order by writing to us directly. Beyond that, your order is in preparation and the address can no longer be modified.

11. Frequently Asked Questions

Why are your delivery times longer than those of large marketplaces?

Because we made a choice: that of quality and curation rather than mass stock. Our pieces do not sleep in a warehouse — they are sourced from selected workshops, verified by our studio, and shipped at your request. This takes a few extra days, but it saves you from the standard of anonymous mass production.

How to get free delivery?

For orders shipped to France, Belgium, Luxembourg, and Switzerland, delivery is free from €25 of purchase. You will see the threshold and calculation displayed in your cart at checkout.

I'm ordering from Switzerland — what else should I know?

You benefit from the same rates as the France / Belgium / Luxembourg zone: free delivery from €25, otherwise €8.80. The only difference is that, as Switzerland is outside the EU, your package will pass through Swiss customs upon arrival. Swiss Post may then ask you for Swiss VAT (8.1%) and a small customs clearance fee (generally between 12 and 18 CHF). These costs are at your expense and paid directly to the postman or at a post office.

Can I speed up my delivery?

Not yet. We are working to open an Express option (3 to 7 days) by the end of 2026, for the main European destinations. If you have a gift to deliver for a specific date, write to us at contact@maisonauraen.com before ordering — we find solutions on a case-by-case basis.

What about the packaging?

Each piece travels in an AURÆN case: linen or natural cotton pouch, handwritten intention card, cream tissue paper. The exterior remains sober and anonymous — to preserve the surprise if it's a gift. No promotional markings on the transport packaging.

The status of my package changes during transit — is that normal?

Yes, it's normal. Tracking often goes through several systems (initial carrier, customs, La Poste). There may be "silences" of 2 to 4 days during these transitions — this is not a sign of misplacement.

What if I'm not home for delivery?

The carrier leaves a delivery notice and holds the package for 10 to 14 days at the post office. Beyond that, it returns to us — in this case, we will contact you to arrange redelivery (costs at your expense).

Do you deliver to overseas territories, India, China, Brazil...?

Not yet by default, but we study each request on a case-by-case basis. Write to us at contact@maisonauraen.com with your desired delivery zone — we will get back to you within 48 hours with a customized option and delivery times.

12. A final note

Delivery, at AURÆN, is not a logistical chore to be dispatched. It's the moment when your piece, carefully sourced and verified by our studio, travels the world to reach your hands. We take this journey seriously.
